Alguersuari: Tough to adapt to different cars

Jaime Alguersuari will be in homeland Spain in just over a fortnight's time as the final meeting of this year's World Series by Renault championship takes place. The Toro Rosso pilot is the only man in the Formula One field to be simultaneously competing in another series but admits that swapping cars can is a challenge.

With the dual role of Formula One and World Series driver, Alguersuari has just two races remaining in both championships this season. "It's difficult, especially when you go back to the World Series," the teenager from Barcelona admitted. "That car is completely different, and the tyres too.

Alguersuari currently lies fourth in the World Series standings

"We now have only one race left but for my experience it's good and we still have the championship going; when I go back to adapt to the Michelin tyres and the brakes it's a different feeling, so it's tough; I think a good driver adapts himself to everything and in the World Series there are guys who've been there for a few years and know everything about the car and the tyres, so it's hard to beat them."

Jaime's final race of the 2009 campaign for Carlin will take place at the new Ciudad de Motor de Aragón circuit, located just outside the town of Alcañiz in Teruel province.
