Mexico's Salvador Duran will be returning to the Interwetten World Series by Renault team for the final four races of this year's championship. The Mexico City driver, who has since represented his country in A1 Grand Prix, driver competed with the squad during both the 2007 and 2008 campaigns and is looking forward to his drives in Germany and Spain.

The late-season return of Duran will thrown in a number of variables in the mix for the 24-year-old, with the well-known German Nürburgring and the brand-new Aragon circuit in Spain left to attend.

"I am over the moon being able to drive the final two race weekends of the World Series for Interwetten," he commented. "It won't be easy to be competitive from the very beginning - because I haven't driven this car for a long time - but I'm sure that I will soon be back to my previous condition."

"We are delighted that Salvador is able to drive for us again," team boss Walter Raus added. "We have been very successful with him and want to continue that."
